Amber Heard Deleted From Twitter, Elon Musk Involved? 5

Amber Heard’s Twitter account has been deactivated, and social media is busy speculating about whether she deleted or her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk did.

Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter, many changes have been made to the social media platform. Not only is there a real possibility of a $20 charge for the blue verification check, but it seems many public figures are bearing the blunt of Musk’s need to change Twitter. One person who appears to be affected by Twitter’s new leadership is Aquaman actress Amber Heard.

On November 1st fans quickly realized that Amber Heard’s Twitter profile had been erased. The only thing left is a message to users that the account doesn’t exist. With Heard’s recent controversies surrounding her public divorce from Johnny Depp and the actress struggling to receive work in Hollywood, many have wondered if Heard decided to delete her account on purpose. However, there is another possibility.

For those unaware, Amber Heard and Elon Musk dated in 2016. While their relationship lasted only a few months, reports suggested they were very involved in each other’s lives. According to Koimoi, Heard was open to the Telsa CEO about her issues with Depp and the two often shared text messages together. Musk even reportedly helped the actress financially.

Then on November 17, Musk confirmed his alleged split with Amber Heard. During an interview with Rolling Stones, Musk admitted he was “really in love” with the actress. Musk’s confirmation came shortly after the two decided to go public with their relationship.

The breakup with Amber Heard did take its toll on the tech billionaire, who afterward attended the Tesla vehicle Model 3 launch event over the summer. Musk said that it took “every ounce of will” for him to show up at the event and not look like “the most depressed guy around.” He stated that he needed to “psych himself up” by “drinking a couple of Red Bulls and hanging out with positive people.”

After the breakup, Elon Musk and Amber Heard posted messages about what happened between them on Instagram. Musk commented on a photo of Heard mimicking The Little Mermaid’s Ariel putting forks in her hair. After initially writing “Cute,” the tech billionaire then left a lengthy comment about the breakup, which stated, “Btw, just to clear up some of the press storm this weekend, although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another.”

Amber Heard later responded that she and Musk still “care deeply for one another and remain close” despite having broken up. Musk blamed the pair’s demanding work schedules for their break up but left the door open for a possible reconciliation.

Fast forward to today, and Musk now owns the social media platform his ex-girlfriend is no longer on. While this is purely speculation, there is a possibility that Amber Heard deleted her Twitter account to avoid having to deal with questions or accusations from fans about her potentially getting special treatment from the new head of Twitter. Or, perhaps she doesn’t agree with how Musk is already running the social media platform. Whatever the case, it has left many scratching their heads.

The hashtag #AmberHeardIsAMonster may be another reason why the Aquaman actress parted ways with Twitter. Heard has faced a ton of backlash from fans online about her comments during the trial, including being called a blatant liar. During the trial, Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez showed a knife the actress bought for Depp as a gift years prior. Heard argued Depp had turned violent then and often threatened her.

However, Amber Heard also stated that Depp didn’t lash at her with the knife. This would come back up months later when someone posted on Twitter a comment Heard said during the trial and a picture of a big knife. The user called the actress out for claiming to be threatened by Depp despite having given him the knife in the first place.
