It looks like Chance The Rapper’s next album will be dropping this Summer. On Monday night, the Chicago rapper hopped on social media and informed fans that his next album will be arriving in July.

While shopping with his girlfriend, Chano took time to explain to us that he’s been working on new music and he’s enjoying life, while mentioning that the album will be dropping in July. His manager, Pat Corcoran, also confirmed the date by sharing the July release date on his IG page with “confirmed” as his caption. Unfortunately there’s no word yet as for what the project will be called or what we can expect from it, but it’s exciting to know there’s an end date in sight.

Chance last released his Coloring Book project back in 2016, which coincidentally won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. He’s recently been teasing a joint project with Kanye West, which the two were reportedly worked on last year, but nothing has been made of it ever since.

Check out the album announcement (below) and keep it locked for further updates. In the meantime, revisit a couple new songs to hold you over like “My Own Thing” & “The Man Who Has Everything.”
