Chris Brown has recently been hit with rape accusations while in Paris. He was detained and later released, cleared of his charges. Since then, he had spoken up about the situation and continues to express his intentions to persevere throughout any obstacles placed before him. The singer recently uploaded a video that has garnered much sympathy from his fans.It opens to the Eifel tower followed by scenes featuring the artists’ rehearsals. It’s abruptly cut to news headlines of the sexual assault incident. Brown’s voice interjects. “My mom and grandma always said: ‘The Lord can give you a gift and he can take it away,’” Breezy begins in his statement. “And I feel like I don’t have to explain any bullsh*t or any lies somebody’s perpetrating or portraying me as.” Despite being held up by the legal issue, the entertainer went on to work as planned.

His accuser is also determined to continue the investigation despite its apparent dismissal. As previously reported, Franck Serfarti, who represents the 23-year-old, said that “prosecutors can open a judicial inquiry into the allegations.”

“The departure of [Chris Brown] from France and the other two people implicated does not affect the continuation of the police investigation, which will continue despite their physical absence,” Serfarti stated.
