Damian Lillard Agrees with Criticism of Ja Morant and KAT's In-Game Behavior 5

Over the years, the NBA has taken a shift in terms of how the game is played, and also sportsmanship when it comes to the younger generation of players. This was notable during the series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Memphis Grizzlies and the trash-talking between Karl-Anthony Towns and Ja Morant.

KAT has received criticism recently for being very vocal on the court, which led to NBA veteran player Draymond Green calling him out. In his podcast, Draymond Green commented on Towns’ behavior, stating, “At some point you probably just should be yourself.”

Now, another veteran player, Damian Lillard, is stepping in to share his thoughts. Lillard reposted Instagram account Ball Don’t Stop’s post about KAT and Ja Morant taking their trash-talking to the extreme during the series.

Some of the issues pointed out in the post include, “Morant and Brooks dancing on that logo after the Grizzlies grinded out a win over the play in #7 team as a #2 seed in round one. Not a good msg to send to the veteran Dubs.”

Ball Dont Stop continued, “KAT waving goodbye to the crowd after blowing a 10-point lead in the 4th quarter of a series they choked leads in multiple times and basically gave away. You’d maybe see this if a team lost in the Finals on their home floor in a hard fought game, from the role players. Still remember KG crying on the bench with a towel over his head when they lost to the Lakers in 04.”

Lillard took to his Instagram Stories, where he reposted Ball Don’t Stop’s post along with telling viewers, “Must read caption.”
