Date for Adekunle Gold and Simi’s white wedding yet to be fixed – Manager

Adekunle Gold and Simi had their traditional wedding on January 9, 2019 and it was rumored a white wedding had been scheduled for the next day in the presence of 300 guests.

Although there was a video of the couple dancing at their traditional wedding, no footage from their white wedding was seen in circulation, making people wonder if they intend publishing them in a magazine or perhaps produce a music video with them.

Well, fans would have to wait a little longer because the wedding was not held on the said date.

Simi’s manager, Wale Bello says the date for the white wedding is yet to be fixed.

“They got married on Wednesday in a close-knit ceremony. It was the traditional marriage that they had and they have not yet fixed a date for the white wedding,” he says. “Although some people are speculating that they would do their white wedding this week, it is false; they only did their traditional wedding.”

On why the Simi and Adekunle decided to have a secret traditional wedding, Bello implied that that the love birds will be in the better position to respond to the question.

He said: “I do not know why they made it a secret but it is what they want. Some people might have felt that it is a music video shoot but it is not. They are married.

The traditional wedding was held at Eko Atlantic, Lagos. It was graced by family, friends and other prominent showbiz personalities such as Falz, Mr Eazi, DJ Spinall, Lala Akindoju, Do2dtun, Smade, Praiz, Olamide, Moelogo and Pheelz.

Simi, 30, and Adekunle Gold, 31, reportedly dated for 7 years before finally getting married.
