A short clip from Joyner Lucas and Eminem’s collaboration surfaces online.

Joyner Lucas has made a name for himself as one of the best lyricists to come out in recent times. He’s received praise from some of the biggest in the game including Eminem who co-signed him on his latest project, Kamikaze. On top of that, the two also collaborated on the project for the song, “Lucky You.” With Joyner Lucas’ debut album set to arrive at some point soon, he previously revealed that Eminem would return the favor and hop on his project. Unfortunately, a release date for the project hasn’t been announced so it’s unclear when we’ll hear it.

It’s clear that Eminem has a lot of respect and admiration for Joyner Lucas. The two worked together on ‘Lucky You‘ from Em’s Kamikaze album and on the intro track from the same project, Em shouted him out amongst the likes of Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Big Sean.

A year ago, Joyner revealed that Em was featured on his ADHD album but currently there’s still no release date for it, despite him putting out the title track last month. However tonight, a 13 second snippet of what was likely that collaboration has surfaced online.

Interestingly, it’s called ‘What If I Was Gay’. Joyner raps “what if I told you I’m out of place? Wait, what if I told you that I was gay?”. It then cuts to Em rapping “what if I’m a hypocrite who’s just afraid to face truth? Wait, what if I told you I’m gay too?” and that’s where it ends. There’s no other context, but this one is intriguing and will get people talking regardless.
