Gauahar Khan calls Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber ‘dumb’ for their comment on fasting: ‘Get an education…’

Actor Gauahar Khan didn’t mince her words on her recent Instagram Stories, as she called out celebrity couple Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber for their comments on fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. Recently, in an online interview, Justin and Hailey were caught laughing over the aspect of fasting during Ramadan, where Justin also said that it “deprives your body on nutrition.”

Gauahar, who is also pregnant, took to her Instagram Stories to call out both Justin and Hailey for making such an insensitive remark. In the interview that was shared by a page named Hijab Modern in Instagram, Justin and Hailey discuss the concept of fasting and how it doesn’t make sense for them to fast. “I gotta really think about that, I have never really done it…I think our bodies need nutrition to think properly.” starts Justin. Hailey then revealed how fasting off food never really “made sense to her,” and said, if you want fast off the TV, fast off your phone, I think I believe in that more, but fasting off food… it never really made sense to me… or if you are fasting sweets or fasting sugar.” She then concluded by saying, “We’re totally like yeah, that’s why you are stupid!”

Gauahar posted the video on her Instagram Stories and wrote in the caption, “Just proves how dumb they are. Only if they knew about the science behind it. And the health benefits from it! Get an education @Justinbieber and @haileybieber. Its okay to have an opinion btw! But be intelligent enough to put forth correctly.”

Gauahar and her husband Zaid Darbar are keeping their Ramadan tradition alive. The actor often shares her journey on keeping the Roza in her Instagram Stories. On Thursday, Gauahar shared a cute video of how they wait all day to have delicious food at the end of it. Recently, Gauahar also responded to the question about whether pregnant women can manage fasting and said, “Yea pregnant ladies , sick person, n travelling humans are exempted from observing Roza ! U can feed the needy Rozedaars instead ! Subhan Allah.”
