Musician turned Pastor Gemann has finally opened up on why actor Jagger Pee was jailed.

In an interview on Power Entertainment hosted by Agyemang Prempeh on Power97.9fm, Gemann revealed that Jagger Pee went to prison because of abetment of crime.

“He went to prison because of the things he went to say in court and that’s the only reason. We were 4, myself, Nada, Diana, and Jagger Pee. So we were 4 accused people, it’s on records. As for the two women, they couldn’t find any case against them .. Jagger stood for trial with me because somebody said he saw him holding the driver. So Jagger’s charge was abetment of crime.

As the first accused, they asked me and I told them it’s not true because no one in his right sense would hold someone to be shot, when it got to his turn and was asked if he did that, he said he doesn’t remember.”

Speaking on his relationship with Jagger Pee, the “Highlife In G Major” hitmaker said:

“Jagger was a work colleague because I wanted to harbour into film making.”

On January 9, 1995, Jagger Pee was in the company of Nana Agyeman and two other ladies when the latter shot and killed a taxi driver over a fare misunderstanding.

Jagger Pee spent 32 months in prison. His friend, Nana Agyeman, also known as Gemann, spent 14 years in prison, half of which was on death row.
