STARR FM’s drive co-host, Giovani Caleb appears to have quit the EIB Network. Giovani, who joined EIB Network in 2015, broke the news in a Facebook post on Tuesday, January 22.

In the post, the radio and TV personality, who was also the co-host of the sex-ED talk show, Duvet on GHOne, said although the decision was hard to take, he had to do it to fulfil God’s plan for himself.

He expressed appreciation to the media outfit, the CEO Bola Ray and staff and wished them all the best.

Giovani Elolo Caleb, a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon, began his radio career with campus station, Radio Univers.

He joined Starr FM as a broadcast journalist in 2015; he had previously worked with YFM and Live FM.

He took over as the host Starr Drive after Bola Ray left to host Starr Chat. He hosted the show with Anita Erskine for several months before she left and Berla Mundi filled in.

Giovani also co-hosted the adult show, Duvet, on GHOne with Ms Nancy. The show, which airs on Thursdays has gained a big following in the last year.

He has also hosted the MTN Hitmaker talent reality show for two seasons with Berla Mundi.

His exit from EIB Network will be a big blow to the outfit. It is unclear where he is headed to next but reports indicate he could make his next stop at 3FM, one of Media General’s radio stations.
