I don’t need any royalties for my album – Lord Kenya

Veteran hiplife artiste Lord Kenya real name Abraham Philip Akpor Kojo Kainya, has asked made his intention known that he is not interested in any royalties money gotten from the sales of his albums.

According to him, though he is not that rich, the Good Lord who called him to do his work would provide food on his table.

In an interview on 3Fm, he said: “I am not interested in that (those selling the albums)… I was divine. I was told not to. He (God) said I was the one who called you and I will take care of you,”

Lord Kenya joined Slip Music in 1998 and released his debut album Sika Card which instantly became one of the nations hits during the peak of his career.

After several years, he switched from secular music into Evangelism during the peak of his career.
