I have about 6,000 unreleased songs – Shatta Wale

Dancehall act Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, says he has about 6,000 unreleased songs.

According to him, he is a honcho when it comes to recording songs. Shatta Wale, undoubtedly, releases more songs than most A-list artistes in the country.

In an interview on Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV, he said he spends most of his time in his recording studio because he loves working hard.

“I have about 6,000 songs unreleased. Some are my past songs but I’m still working,” he said.

He further advised musicians to purchase their recording equipment since they could record anytime without delay.
