On Sunday (January 6th), J. Cole and the Dreamville roster delivered on a host of teasers that announce that impending arrival of the Revenge Of the Dreamers III compilation project.”Your presence and participation is requested for the recording sessions of the upcoming compilation album ‘Revenge of The Dreamers III,’” reads a poster-like invitation. According to the invitation, the recording sessions are to take place in Atlanta beginning Sunday, to last through January 16th.

Among those who have publicized their invite are Dreamville’s finest, including Bas, Cozz, EarthGang, J.I.D, and Ari Lennox while the invite has also been extended to a handful of others outside of the Dreamville scope including recent TDE signee Reason, Boston-based producer Ricky Felix, and even executives such as Barry Hefner of Since The 80s.

The last time we received a Revenge Of The Dreamers compilation was with the second edition of the series in 2015 with vocals coming in from J. Cole, Bas, Cozz, Omen, Lute, and Ari Lennox. The effort went on to peak at No. 24. This time around, the effort seems to be a much more concerted and calculated effort with a roster that’s obviously grown since 2015.

Stay tuned for more updates on ROTD3.
