Empawa Africa Music signee, J Derobie born Derrick Oboubie Jnr has bagged his first-ever award.
The sensational singer blew into the music in 2018 with his ‘Poverty’ hit-song and he has since been doing well.
J Derobie won the Best Male Raggae/Dancehall video award at the just ended 3RD TV Music Video Awards 2019.
He was nominated in the same category with KK FOSU – LOVERS ROCK FT ADINA, RAS KUUKU – WO REMIX FT KOFI KINAATA, SAMINI – RAINBOW, SHATTA WALE – ISLAND and STONEBWOY – TUFF SEED.
Sharing a photo of the plaque on social media, J. Derobie wrote:
