JOHNNY DEPP previously called Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children, the “love of my life” in an unearthed Oprah interview, as the fallout from the defamation trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard continues.

Johnny Depp, 59, had two children with his French actress ex-wife Vanessa Paradis, 49, during their long-term relationship. In an unearthed interview with Oprah Winfrey, Depp praised his children for giving him a new lease of life while also calling Vanessa the “love of my life”.

Depp was with Vanessa for 14 years after meeting on the set of Hollywood’s The Ninth Gate in 1998.

The former couple split in 2012, which shocked fans after the Edward Scissorhands’ romantic declarations.

In the unearthed clip, Depp praised his then partner while also branding the actress “gorgeous” when Oprah mentioned her name during a 2004 interview.

Oprah asked Depp: “How would you say that she has affected your life?”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star gushed: “Changed it completely. I mean Vanessa and my kids gave me life.

“Just I mean put me in another, a whole other arena.”

Oprah then chimed in: “Sounds like you found the love of your life.”

Depp replied simply: “Yeah.”

In 2012, after he and Vanessa had called time on their marriage, Johnny married Amber Heard in 2015, whom he met on set for The Rum Diary in 2009.
