Kendrick Lamar wrapped up his The Big Steppers Tour in New Zealand over the weekend but he’s not closing the door on hitting the road in the future.
K. Dot went back-to-back at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on December 16 and December 17 to finish off the global tour, which consisted of 76 shows in 16 countries spanning three different continents.

The Compton native finished off his set alongside cousin Baby Keem with a heartwarming message for the crowd where he promised he’d be back again to perform.

“With that being said, from the bottom of our hears, we love y’all and we will be back,” Kendrick stated, which drew a roar from the thousands of fans filling in the venue.

Kendrick Lamar unleashed his fifth studio album — and first in five years — Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers in May. He then hit the road for The Big Steppers Tour which began in Milan, Italy in late June.

The 35-year-old has released a plethora of visuals to support the LP with the most recent being for the stirring “Count Me Out,” which finds Kendrick opening up to a shrink played by legendary British actor Dame Helen Mirren.

Lamar previously dropped off videos for “Rich Spirit,” “We Cry Together,” “N95” and “The Heart Part 5” earlier this year. The latter is also nominated for Best Rap & Hip Hop Music Video at the HipHopDX Awards 2022.

Kendrick also snagged eight 2023 Grammy Award nominations for his latest album. He’s picked up nominations for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Music Video for “The Heart Part 5,” along with Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Best Melodic Rap Performance.

Look for K. Dot’s next performance coming over the summer as part of Primavera Sound 2023’s double weekend run, with his performances set for June 4 at the Parc Del Fòrum in Barcelona, and June 9 at Madrid’s Arganda Del Rey.
