Promising Afropop musician Afare Ernestina better known as Dhat Girl has disclosed in a recent interview that, Ghanaian male artists are willing to collaborate with her than her colleague female musicians.

Explaining why she thinks so, the talented singer told host DJ Nyaami on ‘WE DEY VIBE’ on SVTV Africa that, sometimes she needs a particular female artist on her song, which she does all she can to get that artist but to her surprise she gets turned down by the act and this is usually by her own female musicians. “The industry is not that bad, the only problem I have is the big artist, you call someone and the person will be like, okay send the song I will do it. The moment you send the song, she will be like oh we’re doing such a similar song so we can’t do yours and someone will be like I don’t like the vibe of the song and some won’t even mind you”

The singer added that, she finds this disturbing especially coming from her female colleagues.

Dhat Girl however noted that, the male acts on the other hand are always ready to collaborate with her. She said she had already collaborate with highlife sensational Bisa K’dei and looking forward to collaborate with Kuami Eugene among other male artists.

The singer added that, 2019, she is looking forward to do more international collaborations since her colleagues in Ghana are not ready for collaboration.
