Medikal – Westwood (Freestyle)

Rapper Medikal has delivered a fierce, jaw dropping and thought-provoking bars on Tim Westwood’s latest Capital Xtra show.

The freestyle, lasting for seven minutes, shows the AMG Business label artiste spit hot bars – from brags to real issues and misconceptions about Africa.

He started off by bragging about his clout, rap skills and wealth before switching to the bad picture created about Africa.

Medikal fired shots at international media giants including CNN and Aljazeera for portraying Africa as a war zone and its inhabitant as bird nests.

In the middle of his hot bars, he got a little pissed off about the stories told about his continent.

“I’m sick of these hypocrites/All these books and they still be some illiterates,” Medikal spits and gave props to African greats. “Big ups to Kofi Annan and Mandela, Fella Kuti/Shout outs to Kwame Nkrumah, Gaddafi, the legend Barack Obama, JJ Rawlings.”
