Metro Boomin – 10 Freaky Girls Feat. 21 Savage (Official Video)

Metro Boomin & 21 Savage shed the “Captain Save-A-Ho” capes.
Metro Boomin’s return to the spotlight felt relatively brief, though spillover from his Not All Heroes Wear Capes album continues to permeate the mainstream. Today, the superproducer and his once-protege 21 Savage have come through with a new dose of visuals for fan-favorite “10 Freaky Girls,” not to be confused with Eminem’s homie freestyling in 8 Mile. For the most part, the clip tows a minimalist line, though rest assured there are certainly freaky girls on deck. Not necessarily ten, but enough to get the point across.

As per usual, the combination of Metro and Savage is appropriately sinister, as reflected by the video’s dark color palette. Shadows permeate the entire set, stylizing something that might have felt otherwise gratuitous. For the most part, 21 is content to lay back with his companions, or perhaps post up alongside his vehicle. As the video concludes, a marching band enters the fold for good measure, an exclamation mark on an otherwise low-key affair.
