Mugeez explains why he doesn’t fancy music awards

Rashid Mugeez better known as one half of Ghanaian hip-hop outfit “R2Bees” on his social media has revealed why he does not fancy music awards as a musician.

Mugeez is one among the few best singers who have ever make an appearance in the Ghanaian music industry but he seems not to be chasing music award schemes and does not get bothered when his works are overlooked, unlike others.

Mugeez is the less to talk about on social media even though he is one among great talents who does the magic when featured on a song but hei, it seems he has a reason for that.

On his Twitter page, the perfect half of R2BEES, Mugeez has said that, he was not on earth to chase music awards, but was here to do good music so as to entertain his audience.

He stressed that, it’s so embarrassing as a musician to set your prioritize your career just to win music awards and such seems funny like hell.

He twitted:

“ManKind No Come Into This Life For Music Awards.. that ish is funny as hell .. don’t attach Urself to it .. just do da music… it’s embarrassing charley”

R2Bees is a Ghanaian hip hop and hiplife duo from Tema made up of Faisal Hakeem and Rashid Mugeez. They were nominated at the 2013 BET Awards. In March 2019, the duo released their third studio album Site 15.
