With each passing day, new entrants join the music industry and some people have the perception that the industry is choked but Kpo K3k3 hitmaker, Stonebwoy has dismissed that.

According to him, the music industry is big enough for everyone. “The industry is too big for everyone to have a space, let us all love and show love. Love is all we need.

“There is no competition anywhere, we all do this fro the love of the music,” he said during his performance at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Nominees Jam which took place at the Kumasi City Mall in the Ashanti Region on Saturday, April 6.

The Nominees Jam witnessed performances from Shatta Wale, Yaa Pono, Flowking Stone, Wendy Shay, Kwaku Gyasi as well as nominees in the VGMA’s Unsung category and underground artistes.

The show was closed by Stonebwoy who came through with an electrifying performance as the around 15,000 crowd that thronged the Kumasi Mall sang along with him.

On Saturday, April 13, Stonebwoy held a naming ceremony for his son, Janam Joachim Satekla in Accra.

From videos from the naming ceremony on his page, one could clearly see that it was a joyous moment with family members of Stonebwoy and his wife, Louisa all in attendance.

Janam is the second child of Stonebwoy and Louisa whom he married in June 2017. Their first child is a girl, Catherine Jidula, who was born in December 2018.

Stonebwoy has several nominations in the VGMA this year including the topmost Artiste of the Year.
