My VGMA performance was indeed a flop – Sarkodie

Hardly do some of our top musician or industry players accept the fact that they flop.

Rapper Sarkodie has accepted the fact that his performance at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was a flop as many people have said since the event including radio presenter Blakk Rasta.

Music lovers who have seen more of Sark’s performances at various events after his VGMA performance took to social media to blast him for his abysmal performance on the night.

Sarkodie has, however, reacted to this during an interview.

According to him, he was really upset even before he mounted the stage adding that they were told to rehearse less than 24 hours before the event which affected the new artistes he performed with.

“I was mad about the poor output of Biibi Ba performance at #VGMA20. The performance of Biibi Ba wasn’t about me. It was about the young rappers. I wanted the spotlight to be on them. A lot went wrong. I wasn’t impressed with the performance of Biibi Ba. We were told about our rehearsals 24hrs before the event.”, he said in the interview.

Well, since he has accepted his fault, I think we have to forgive him and look forward to a better performance next time.
