As we all know by now, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty has diversified its portfolio by entering the African segment with the launch of their premium Fenty Beauty Africa

Fenty Beauty Africa was launched across several African countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Namibia, Botswana, Ghana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe on MAY 27!

As a South African publication, we set our eyes on the local launch and to say the least, 27 May 2022 will be remembered as an evening where all expectations were surpassed.

The much-anticipated launch took place in Sandton, Johannesburg on Thursday night.

A slew of celebrities and influencers, including Rosemary Zimu, Uncle Waffles, Rich Mnisi and more arrived at the party to show their support.

THERE was an aura of mystery as specially invited guests wounded their way through the restaurant to be welcomed by SA’s top-tier PR person, Simphiwe Majola.

Uncle Waffles stood out an open back dress and flaunted her new tattoo, and Linda Mtoba wore a Black jumpsuite and a stylish winter coat.

Although Rihanna was not around to witness the amazing launch, Fenty Beauty’s Global Makeup Artist, Hector Espinal made an appearance and thanked Mzansi for the support.

Commenting on the launch, Hector said: “We’re stepping into a new journey for Fenty Beauty as we launch in Africa, we have been giving our customers the most innovative products and now we are ready to introduce lots of exciting skincare to our range as well. I am really looking forward to everyone trying out these products.”

It was an evening to remember, incredible décor, an open Bar, innovative cuisine and an entertainment spectacle unlike anything seen in Sandton, featuring superstars like Kamo Mphela and Uncle Waffles.

The extravagant celebration gave many of our followers serious FOMO, and we love it.
