Rosanna Arquette says it’s ‘disturbing’ that women are ‘picking on’ Amber Heard

Throughout her legal battle with Depp, Heard has struggled to find high-profile supporters more than her former husband. The two are embroiled in a $50 million defamation trial, with Depp suing his ex over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she claimed the be a survivor of domestic abuse.

Pirates of the Caribbean star Depp maintains that he was the real victim in their turbulent marriage and that Heard’s unfair allegations wrecked his reputation and his career. Heard, meanwhile, has doubled down on her claims and countersued for $100 million.

Over the past few weeks, the trial has raged on in Fairfax County Court, Virginia. Both parties have given emotional testimonies from the witness stand, and there has been no shortage of headlines as more and more details about their violent relationship have come to light.
