Award winning Ghanaian music engineer Awal Alhassan popularly known as Possigee has shared an insight into rapper Sarkodie’s work ethics.

The go to engineer who has since 2006 recorded over 200 mixtapes and several other commercially successful songs for the SarkCess Music CEO in an exclusive interview with NY DJ revealed Sarkodie has several songs he seem not to care about anymore due to the rate at which he works.

The engineer who avails himself anytime for Sarkodie anytime revealed this was because the rapper found it comfortable working with him and also understood the right vibe to bring the best out of the artist.

Speaking on BTM Afrika, Possigee said; “He can call me around 2 or 3am to record. He has a studio in his house but I’m still the only person who records him. He finds comfort in recording with me because I know the vibe and kind of energy he needs in the studio to record.

Reacting to Sarkodie’s comment of Possigee being an ‘Angel’ and having in his custody most of his unreleased songs, Possigee said; “Yes, That’ very true. If he should get his song to an upcoming artist to use, the artist should blow within 6 months to a year. I mean the songs he rejected”.

Asked why Sarkodie would reject and abandon some songs, Possigee said “Sarkodie likes to work on new things. He can record today, decide to release the song and later decide to record another one. His work ethics is like that between Will I Am and Michael Jackson. He always wants to record more”.
