Serena Williams enjoyed a shopping trip to Beverly Hills jeweler XIV Karats Ltd. this weekend with her husband Alexis Ohanian.

Alexis, 35, who is best known as the co-founder of Reddit, showed off his arms in a summery tank top and could be seen carrying a small bag from the shop.

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old tennis legend swept her hair back into a ponytail and went for an equally casual set of workout clothes.

Serena and Alexis have both been candid about the life-threatening health problems she faced bringing their one-year-old daughter Olympia into the world.

After an emergency C-section, Serena suffered a pulmonary embolism that caused multiple other issues, leaving her bedridden for a month and a half.

‘Sometimes I get really down and feel like, Man, I can’t do this. It’s that same negative attitude I have on the court sometimes. I guess that’s just who I am,’ the sister of Venus Williams explained to Vogue of that time.

A couple of months after the baby was born, her parents had a swank wedding in New Orleans with a star-studded guest list including Beyonce and Anna Wintour.

In one respect, their ceremony served as an inspiration for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ nuptials in Jodhpur this past December.

On the latest episode of the Indian talk show Koffee With Karan, ‘PC’ revealed she confiscated all of her wedding guests’ phones after Serena did the same.

Nick and Priyanka’s Christian and Hindu functions were spread across three days at Umaid Bhawan, a formerly royal palace that has been converted into a hotel.
