The couple announced their split after 12 years together
Shakira and Gerard Pique’s breakup continues to generate controversy, as new rumors arise about the reasons why the couple decided to go their separate ways, as it was recently revealed that the Colombian singer had hired a detective agency and discovered through them that he was cheating on her.
It has been reported that Shakira allegedly resorted to an agency to hire detectives, who would have followed Pique’s every step and thus discovered his infidelity, according to the TV show “El gordo y la flaca.”

It was also reported that Shakira would have in her possession images of Pique next to the woman with whom he allegedly cheated on him and they will not come to light because she paid for them and to have privacy.
Shakira and Pique confirmed a few days ago that they were separating after 12 years of relationship and having conceived two children, but did not reveal the reasons and asked for respect for their lives.
In several media it was reported that apparently the reason for the separation would be that the Barcelona soccer player was unfaithful to Shakira with a young woman of about 20 years of age, whose profession would be a waitress in a bar.

Some of the first to talk about it were Spanish journalists Lorena Vazquez and Laura Fa in their video podcast Mamarazzis, pointing out that the singer had caught the Barcelona player “with another women” and had “made the decision to separate”.
At one point, the mother of Gavi, the player’s teammate in the Barcelona first team, was even said to have been the cause of the separation between Shakira and Pique. However, this rumour was quickly denied by the media.

The Spanish media have put another woman on the scene as the possible cause of the rupture between the Colombian and Pique, it would be the girlfriend of Riqui Puig.
“She is a friend of Riqui Puig’s girlfriend [Gemma Iglesias], who we assume was the one who introduced them,” says El Periodico.
