Shaquille O’Neal is the latest guest on the new episode of “The Pivot,” and during the show, he opened up about his divorce from ex Shaunie O’Neal, and took accountability for their breakup.
Shaq Takes Accountability For Shaunie O’Neal Divorce
The father of six sat down with hosts Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder and chopped it up about various things including his upbringing, his many business ventures, and also a few regrets while looking back at his life. One of those regrets he expressed was his divorce from Shaunie O’ Neal. He said,
“I wasn’t protecting her and protecting those vows. Sometimes when you live that double life, you get caught up. So I’m not gonna say it was her, it was all me.”
Shaq continued to explain that Shaunie did everything that she was supposed to in their marriage and that he was at fault for what went wrong. Although their marriage is over, he shared that his role of protecting, providing, and loving his family is far from over.
