Tsonga Queen, Sho Madjozi might have exceeded her targets and goals for herself, she looks to have set sights on another dream for her village.

The rise to fame and the the top echelon of the industry for Sho Madjoziwhose real name is Maya Wegerif has been nothing short of phenomenal.

Famed for her Xitsonga lyrics and vibrant fashion, the serial hitmaker has never failed to show her pride in and celebrate her roots.

In fact, she raced to the top of the trends in the past campaign when she launched her debut album which she aptly titled “Limpopo Champions League.”

That project of musical art dropped to impressive numbers, positive rating and continues to buzz across trends, platforms as well as the airwaves.

Only thing is Sho Madjozi who has managed to put her village of Shirley in Limpopo on the global map does have plans to go a step further with dreams of building a water park.

“I want to build a water park in my village. I love them and I know other people in the area would too,” she told TshisaLIVE recently.

In describing her sound, the “Huku” mastermind describes the absence of pressure as one of the driving factors behind the success of her music.

“I’ve never felt pressure to be something I am not or to make music that other people will like. I think I have got this far because I make music that I like. I make music that I would dance to if I was at home. That’s what means the world to me,” she said.

Quite an impressive campaign from Sho Madjozi and we can only wish her the very best. You can as well join the conversation with your thoughts and wishes in the comments section below.
