Sista Afia explains why she moved away from Shatta Wale

Ghanaian female songstress, Sista Afia has touched on why she moved away from her friend,  Shatta Wale.

Casting our minds back, the two used to be the best of enviable friends.

They recorded hit songs together and even were rumored to be dating.

For some time now, the two haven’t been spotted in town publicly as they used to in the past. Bad wishers are of the view that all isn’t well between the two.

Finally, Sista Afia has touched on the issue.

According to her, when she first entered the industry, Shatta Wale really aided her in several ways.

She added that she now feels it is time to stand firm on her own without any external support from Shatta Wale.

Also, Sista Afia explained she distancing herself from Shatta Wale was very necessary because people may think she is one of his Militants.

She said “Shatta Wale gave me a lot of platforms, and I was all over him. He supported me but I wanted to be on my own. So I had to distance myself from him so people don’t see me as one of his militants”.
