Skrewfaze – Why Now (Prod. By Mr Brown Beatz)

Skrewfaze announced his signing to a record label (Black Kulcha Music) in the UK with his first single ‘Move Away’ and video, which received rave reviews about his maturity as a prolific singer/songwriter, Skrewfaze has just announced the release of his follow-up single on 7th February 2019.

The single which he has titled ‘Why Now?’, shows that he has indeed come back to stay and claim his place as one of the best artistes Ghana has to offer. ‘Why Now?’ is such a good and inspiring song with great melodies. It displays Skrewfaze’s credentials as a great songwriter. It also confirms that his sound has indeed changed and is aiming for a much wider audience worldwide.

In this song, he is admonishing people who had been wicked to him but are now coming back to be friends with him, now that they have seen him rise high again. The content appears to be a follow-on from ‘Move Away’, you can call it a part two of ‘Move away’.
It appears this year is going to be a good one for the re-branded Skrewfaze as an artiste. He is on fire and looks like his team have a good plan and direction for him. Whatever they are doing appears to be working out so far, good lyrical content, great vocal delivery and great production to go with it. PR has so far also been good.
