Chloe Bailey and Damson Idris found themselves trending on Twitter following the premiere of “Swarm”. In the Friday, March 17 episode of Donald Glover’s Amazon Video horror/thriller series, the two’s characters were seen having a graphic sex scene that immediately got people talking.
The said scene sees Dominique Fishback’s Andrea “Dre” Greene watching her sister Marissa (played by Chloe) having sex with her boyfriend Khalid (Damson) from the open door. As Marissa is so vocal during the steamy activity, Khalid notices Dre on the door. Instead of stopping, he smiles and nods at her.
The clip of the scene, which actually happened not even 5 minutes into the episode, quickly began to do the rounds on Twitter as it garnered more than 15M viewers. “I open up twitter and the first thing I see is that sex scene, from Swarm, with Chloe Bailey & Damson Idris. Y’all horny AF on main,” one Twitter user joked.
Another added, “I’m gonna be thinking about Chloe Bailey and Damson idris’s sex scene for the rest of my life. I just know it…” Someone else wrote, “That Damson Idris and Chloe Bailey sex scene in the movie still has me gagged.”
Some others suggested that Damson was one lucky guy to have filmed the sex scene with Chloe while also dating Lori Harvey in real life. “Damson Idris is shooting such scenes with Chloe Bailey and going home to Lori Harvey??” one fan tweeted. Similarly, one other said, “Damson Idris giving Chloe Bailey backshots for pretend just go home and give Lori Harvey back shots for real…”
Meanwhile, one person slammed Chloe for taking the gig as writing, “Where is a Chloe Bailey’s mentor pls??? She’s been making terrible decisions lately, she should have never done that sex scene in Swarm and I’m not even gonna go into her most recent collab.”
In an interview, Chloe previously recalled being nervous when she was to do the scene. “I first read the script, I was like, ‘Oh, this is insane, this is incredible,’ and I cried, and then I realized, you gotta do that sex scene, girl,” the Chloe X Halle singer admitted.
The 24-year-old star went on to say, “As open and liberal as I am about my body, I was very scared because I haven’t had that many partners.” She continued, “I’m not like that-like that sexual and open. Damson made it really comfortable; you know, there were limited people on set. It was a closed set.”
“We literally had a bouncy ball in between us, and you know, we were making a joke out of it, so it took all of the nervousness away from that. I have to give a lot of kudos to him as a man for making me, as a woman, feel comfortable literally being raw and naked,” she further divulged.[via]
