Soulja Boy Calls Out Lil Durk & Migos For Forgetting Him Once They Became Famous

Nearly 13 years after becoming the first rapper to go viral on YouTube, Soulja Boy has practically become more associated with his outlandish “first rapper” claims than his proclivity for making chart-topping songs. Nevertheless, his name does ring bells in the world of hip-hop, especially to unknown rappers who would jump at the opportunity to work with him.

The 31-year-old rapper was quick to point that out in a scathing message to a handful of famous emcees who he worked with before they were famous because now that they are household names, Soulja Boy claims that many of them have not been returning the favor.

“I’m always doing a song with ni***s before they get signed,” Soulja Boy said, as he looked into the camera lens during a rant on Instagram Live. “Look at me and Lil Durk. I was on Lil Durk’s first mixtape. Look at me and Chief Keef. Look at me and Lil Durk. I do songs with all these ni***s before they get famous. Then once these ni***s get famous, I can’t even get a song from these ni***s no more, that’s crazy. But when ya’ll ni***s was in the hood and ain’t nobody know who the f**k ya’ll was, I was doing songs with you ni***s. Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Migos, Famous Dex, Rich the Kid.”
