T.I. PERFORMS WITH SON DOMANI AT ATLANTA HAWKS GAME

T.I. and his son Domani hit the court this week to deliver a father-and-son halftime show performance at an Atlanta Hawks basketball game.

The home game at State Farm Arena on Thanksgiving Eve (November 23) saw the Hawks take on the Sacramento Kings – and Tip and Domani may have brought just the right ATL energy as the Hawks took the W with 115 to the Kings’ 106.

The pair performed their fan-favorite single “Family Connect,” which currently sits at over 2 million plays on YouTube.

In a press release ahead of the performance, Domani called the experience a “bucket list moment” as he expressed his excitement about hitting the court with his pops.

“Growing up in Atlanta, the Hawks run through my DNA, going to tons of games throughout my life with my family,” he said. “We have a lot of amazing young talent on the team, so I definitely continue to have high hopes for the Hawks. Being able to perform with my pops at State Farm Arena is definitely a bucket list moment for me.”

The halftime show was part of a collaboration between The Hawks Shop and Tip’s Trap Museum, and included limited edition merchandise along with a pop-up curated by both the Hawks and the museum.

The happy family moment comes amid Tip’s escalating beef with comedian Charleston White, which he recently brought to wax on his feature on Jucee Froot’s new single “Step.”

“First your master got you/ Then them whites in Charleston bought you/ To the point you think folk on IG care about you,” Tip raps at the start of the verse.

Elsewhere, he continues his jabs with: “I tell my son, ‘Tell that fuck n-gga he got it if he the opponent,” and: “Look at how far he done brung himself/ Give him enough rope he will surely be done hung himself.”

And just to make sure his point was made, Tip closes out the track with: “What a day, my son respond to what a fuck n-gga say/ I end up on the internet going back and forth with a J/ You’s a neva was, suck-a-dick-to-get-a-dub n-gga.”

The beef stems from White’s October social media post where he ridiculed T.I’s son King Harris and his friend Tootie Raww, the son of Boosie Badazz, for being arrested the month prior. The comedian has since released his own diss track in response.
