There are no hardcore rappers in the music industry anymore - Kwaw Kese 5

Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has taken a swipe at the current crop of rappers.

According to Kwaw Kese, there are no hardcore rappers in the music industry anymore because they have all turned into ‘ladies’.

He indicated that many Ghanaian rappers are trying to sing like the Nigerian musicians just to please ladies or follow trends.

He made this assertion when he was quizzed by Dr Pounds on Hitz FM’s Hitz Gallery the current state of rap in the music industry.

“Now people don’t rap like that anymore so I have decided to bring a new rapper in the game. People stopped rapping; People will like to come out like Hardcore rappers which will be accepted by many but the next time the same person will be singing Afro-beats songs. The rap game is working but people don’t take it seriously because they think if they sing like the Nigerians they will get more audience. So now a lot of our hardcore rappers have turned into ladies,” He told Dr Pounds on Hitz Gallery on Hitz Fm on 26th April 2019 monitored by BrownGH.com
