10. Nipsey Hussle Feat. Roddy Ricch & Hit-Boy – Racks in the Middle
Nipsey Hussle may not have won the 2018 Best Rap Album Grammy award for which he was nominated, but last year was a huge success for him nonetheless. Following his highly successful album Victory Lap, he dropped one final single to end 2018 (“Perfect Timing”), and now he’s back with hi first new track of the year. “Racks in the Middle” debuts at #10.
9. Seth Hirsch Feat. Mac Miller – Say Goodbye
Did Mac Miller actually grant fairly unknown rapper Seth Hirsch a guest verse before his death last year? That remains unclear in the wake of “Say Goodbye,” which Hirsch attempted to release on several platforms last year, only to have it taken down each time. Despite being difficult to find online anymore, “Say Goodbye” debuts at #9.
8. Gunna – Speed It Up
We’re now less than a week away from Gunna’s hotly-anticipated album Drip Or Drown 2, and following lead single “One Call,” the ATL rapper decided to drop off one more track last week. “Speed It Up” hasn’t received great reviews on HNHH (currently sitting at 38% user approval) but we’ll have to wait and see how the rest of the album pans out. This one debuts at #8.
7. Lil AK Feat. Tekashi 6ix9ine – Lanes
Much to our (at least most peoples’) chagrin, Youtube/Instagram personality DJ Akademiks kicked off his rap career last year, and now appears to have more in store for the world. His latest single, “Lanes,” includes an assist from Tekashi 6ix9ine. It debuts at #7.
6. Ciara – Greatest Love
As a Valentine’s Day gift to her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Ciara dropped off new song and accompanying music video, entitled “Greatest Love.” This one debuts at #6.
5. Tory Lanez – Free 21 Freestyle
Tory Lanez has appeared in most of the weekly top tens throughout 2019 so far, but in nearly every instance, it’s been because of his various beefs. With the “Free 21 Freestyle,” he’s finally in here for another reason, that being his support of 21 Savage in the wake of his recent arrest by ICE. This one debuts at #5.
4. Juice WRLD – Robbery
Juice WRLD’s only given us two new tracks in the first two months of 2019, but both have proved very successful on the site. The first, an official remix of Halsey’s “Without Me,” debuted inside of the top ten, and now his new solo cut “Robbery” fares the same. This one debuts at #4.
3. Cardi B & Bruno Mars – Please Me
Bruno Mars and Cardi B are among the two most bankable stars in pop music (no, not just rap and R&B) right now, and after hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last year with a remix of “Finesse,” they’re back with another single that’s almost guaranteed a huge chart performance. “Please Me” debuts at #3 on our chart.
2. Offset – Red Room
Ok, for real this time! After multiple false starts last year, Offset has announced he’s finally ready to release his debut solo album this Friday. Lead single “Red Room” was also shared a couple of times late last year, but was quickly taken offline in both instances. Now, complete with a music video, the track debuts at #2.
1. T.I. – Fuck N****
Wanna know how much HNHH users like beef? T.I.’s Mayweather diss track received 116,000+ views this week, while its closest competitor (Offset’s “Red Room”) got 34k. What’s more, those 116k views are about one-ninth of the total views that “Fuck N****” has received on Youtube so far. By comparison, the HNHH views of “Red Room” are only around .5% of the 6+ million the song got on Youtube. “Fuck N****” easily debuts at #1.
