Travis Scott went into a fit of rage this week following a DJ set in New York City. This week, the rapper got into hot water after an alleged assault on a sound engineer in NYC. According to reports, the rapper unleashed on a man outside of Nebula in New York City and struck the individual in the face. The alleged victim filed a police report but authorities stated that he had no visible injuries. Scott also faces accusations of damaging $12K worth of equipment following the assault on the sound engineer.

Scott has yet to respond to the allegations, though he’s a wanted man in New York City. NYPD said they’re looking for the “SICKO MODE” rapper as a suspect of assault, though there have been conflicting reports surrounding the severity of the incident. Dorian Harrington, who booked Don Toliver’s concert where Scott appeared, told PEOPLE that the reports don’t reflect what he witnessed. “This is a total misunderstanding, and what I saw on stage doesn’t reflect what I read in the news. The music and the night turned out great and everyone left peacefully,” Harrington said.

Travis Scott’s Alleged Victim Speaks Out

Fox5 News caught up with the alleged victim, who was identified as Mark, from a hospital bed. “My neck is f**ked up. My arm is tingling. I have pins and needles going down it,” he said. He explained that things started to go left during Scott’s DJ set, which he described as being too loud and distorted. “[Travis Scott] stuck his middle finger in my face,” Mark recalled. “So I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.”

Scott reportedly went on a rampage afterward where he destroyed $12K worth of equipment, including speakers and a visual screen. However, the rapper’s attorney, Mitchell Schuster, said the whole situation is “a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation.” He added that he believes Scott will be “cleared of any wrongdoing” following a full investigation.
