Video Shows Walmart Shoppers Subdue Man Who Attempted to Rape Woman Inside Store

A man in currently in police custody after allegedly trying to rape a woman inside of a Miami-area Walmart.

The man, 28-year-old Brendan Harvey, was restrained by shoppers after sexually attacking the woman shopper. According to authorities, Harvey walked behind the woman and lifted her dress before rubbing her behind. He then pushed her to the ground and ripped off her underwear.

A shopper is seen jumping on the suspect’s back as others moved in to intervene.

During his appearance in bond court on Monday, the presiding judge revealed that Harvey was already on probation for another incident. Harvey’s bond was set at $50,000.
