YG has hit a low note with fans after charging astronomical fees for meet-and-greet opportunities ahead of his shows.

According to the “Who Do You Love?” rapper’s official website, the Compton native is slated to ring in his upcoming birthday with two concerts at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California.

Ahead of the performances – to be held on March 10 and 12 – the recording artist is inviting fans to dine with him, but they’ll have to dig deep into their pockets to take advantage of the offering.

A meet-and-greet dinner — consisting of a five-star three-course meal, open bar and a photo-op with the “Go Loko” recording artist — will run fans $1,000 per person.

“I said I would never come back to the observatory but here I am, BDAY VIBES LIVE CONCERT put that shitt on & come Fuck with me. UPSCALE EVENT! Tickets on www.4hunnid.com/tour,” he captioned a post on Instagram announcing the birthday shenanigans.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old’s costly invite was met with mixed reactions from fans both in disbelief and in support of the special occasion. “Y’all playing $1,000.00 for dinner with YG?” questioned one fan.

“If I was a huge YG fan, I wouldn’t trip over that at all. It’s a gaudy purchase, but that’s a pretty cool experience for a thousand bucks,” added another fan.

YG joins a growing list of celebrities who are charging a pretty penny for a one-of-a-kind experience with their idol.

Last summer, a series of snaps surfaced featuring Chris Brown and fans during a meet and greet event following his One of Them Ones Tour with Lil Baby. The controversial singer, who quickly came under fire from critics, was adamant that the package was common — a way to get to know his followers — something other artists should focus on more.

“PSA!!! WHEN ARTIST (EVERYONE) DO CONCERTS, they all have something called a VIP PACKAGE,” he said. “I HAVENT DONE MEET AND GREETS IN OVER 7 YEARS… I HAVE THE COOLEST FANS ON THE PLANET .. I APPRECIATE THE FUCK OUTTA THEM. THESE ARE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST WITH THEM FOREVER.”

He continued: “UNLIKE MOST OF THESE LAME ASS ARTIST THAT WONT MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH THE PEOPLE WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE TO EVEN HAVE A CAREER. I ONLY EXIST BECAUSE THESE FANS SAW SOMETHING IN ME I NEVER THOUGHT WAS POSSIBLE.. SO IMA GO ALL OUT FOR MY FANS !!!!,” he wrote in an Instagram story at the time.

Bow Wow also offered a $1,000 VIP experience during his Millennium Tour: Turned Up! with Keri Hilson, Mario and others. It received mixed reviews from fans, but he also defended his price.

“A lot of you guys are asking whats the difference between Ticketmaster Meet and greets,” he wrote on Twitter in September. “Then there are my VIP meet n greets that released yesterday.

“Certain floor seat tickets come with the standard meet and greet where you will be able to still meet me take photos but you WILL NOT get the full experience as my VIP MEET AND GREET HOLDERS… this is your standard picture taking similar to what we usually do.”
