Zendaya Visits Mural dedicated to Euphoria Costar Angus Cloud After His Death
Zendaya is honouring the late Euphoria Costar Angus Cloud.
Recently, Zendaya went to see the mural that was created in the late actor’s native Oakland, California, only days following his passing. On August 9, the actress uploaded a snapshot of a sign that read, “No Love Fades,” along with a picture of herself in front of the memorial.
The visit happens a little over a week after Angus’ family made his passing public.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” they said in a statement on July 31. “As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
Zendaya and the rest of the Euphoria cast paid homage to their late co-star’s “infinite beauty” after learning of Angus’ passing.
I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it),” the Emmy winner, who plays Rue on the HBO series, posted on Instagram Aug. 1.
“I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…’ they could light up any room they entered’ but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.”
