Amber Heard lives very calm after the exhausting trial she had with Johnny Depp last year. The actress is away from the spotlight, she lives very quietly in Spain with her daughter.

After so many scandals Heard chose the island of Mallorca to retire for a while from show business. A few days ago she was seen in a park while playing with her daughter, she looked very calm, with a smile on her face and above all happy.

Heard lost the lawsuit against Depp and fell into a deep depression, and Hollywood closed its doors to her.

Heard appealed the resolution of the trial

Amber Heard officially appealed the sentence by which she was convicted for a defamation crime committed against the actor Johnny Depp, who awarded her a millionaire compensation.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the actress’s lawyers consider that there were numerous errors during that media trial -in which even members of the jury gave interviews-, such as the fact that the hearing was held in Virginia and that the court refused to admit as evidence several communications between Heard and some doctors.

The star of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga was going to accuse her of implicitly mentioning her in a 2018 op-ed he was going to write for the Washington Post.

In its verdict, the jury convicted Heard and awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages to Depp. The jury also awarded $2 million in compensatory damages to her, as the actress filed a criminal complaint against her ex, whom she also accused of criminal defamation.
