Beyoncé has offered a hint about her latest venture, and speculation is rife the Queen could launch a haircare line soon.

Beyoncé took to Instagram on Tuesday (May 16), hinting at what she may be working on next. In the post, the 41-year-old hitmaker is seen styling her hair as she sits at a beauty vanity.

On a counter in the photo, you can also see a variety of unlabeled products, which appear to be spray bottles filled with a golden liquid. A young Beyoncé gets her hair styled on the second slide of the slideshow, and on the last slide, the Texas native describes the secret project in a letter.

“How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” Beyoncé began.

Bey continued: “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.”

She added: “I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

The announcement comes shortly after Beyoncé’s highly-anticipated Renaissance World Tour began on May 10. There has already been a lot of buzz surrounding the tour.

In a clip that surfaced online, the singer does her own version of Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock” dance during her first stop in Stockholm.

Fans were immediately enthralled by the move, and it’s clear from the footage that Bey took the popular dance very seriously, while performing it with a mash-up of her hit song “Diva.”

Regarding her other business ventures, after announcing her partnership with Adidas was ending earlier this year, the singer linked up with Balmain and unveiled her joint Renaissance Couture Collection with the luxury brand in March.

Bey’s new clothing collection was crafted alongside famed designer Olivier Rousteing, who told Vogue in an interview that the idea for the joint line came to him after he had Renaissance on repeat while designing Balmain’s spring 2023 collection.

“I was sketching and sketching as I listened, and sometimes you can’t control the emotion of your sketch. And I started to imagine the sketches inside her album, how they would relate to the songs and the lyrics,” he said. “It wasn’t something I was supposed to be doing but I was just inspired by the music to do it. And that’s how this started.”
