Cardi B has reminded others that she always works with “smaller artists.” Feeling that many of her devotees constantly asked her to do “big collabs,” the “Put It On Da Floor Again” rapper set the record straight and pointed out that she gave those artists “their first chart entry.”

On Thursday, June 15, the 30-year-old raptress responded to an Instagram post about her being “open to working with smaller names.” In the comments section of the post, she wrote, “Yall really lost in this Stan world ..I have always worked wit smaller artists!”

“Even giving them their first chart entry…,” the wife of Offset continued bragging. She then explained why she made the responding comment by writing, “There was a whole article about it on POP SUGAR 6/12/2023 ..literally said this because my fans keep saying they want a big collab.”

This was not the first time Cardi addressed the big collabs issues. During a recent Instagram Live, she said, “I feel like yall constantly ask me to do big collabs.” She went on to stress, “I’m not gonna be collabing with everybody that’s big. I’m gonna be collabing with people that make my f**king ears jump and make me happy. If I like it, I’m gonna get on it. Even if it doesn’t make sense.”

The mother of two further stated, “I always been a b***h that pulls n***as, that pulls b***hes. Your f**king favorite rappers, your favorite f**king favorite athletes f**king been in my DMs and f**king waiting for a chance, but it will never happen! N**as d**ks and b***hes p***ies start shaking when they hear I’m gonna drop something.”

Cardi’s clip from her livestream was later posted by The Neighborhood Talk on its Instagram account. The footage was originally shared by Ttalk Live. Over the video, the note read, “Cardi B says she won’t be pressured to hop on another artist’s song because its charting, says she’s open to working with smaller names.”

The Neighborhood Talk’s post was quick to be flooded with negative responses from Instagram users. One in particular proposed, “The gag is NOBODY BIG is checking for you. you had [Kanye West] and [Lil Durk] on a song it still made no noise.” Another chimed in, “Girl get over yourself. One thing for sure my p***y dont jump listening to none of that trash you rap about. Carry on.” A third asked, “So why you aint drop a album in 5 years if you so confident.”
