Delay is not denial – Davido refuses to give up after uncle loses at appeal court

Singer Davido is in a defiant mood and has vowed not to give up even though his uncle lost at the appeal court today.

His uncle Ademola Adeleke, who appeared before a court in connection with the Osun 2018 governorship elections, lost to Osun state Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, even though he won the first case against the governor.

Davido has actively shown his support for his uncle on his Instagram and Twitter pages. Before the trial, he asked fans to pray for his uncle to emerge victoriously.

After the proceedings, he has again taken to social media to state that they are not giving up just yet, in spite of the unfavourable outcome.

He wrote that “delay is not denial” along with a lengthy note to his fans.

In the post, he urged all their supporters to remain calm as they wait to go for another appeal hearing.

He added that God is in control and everything that has been taken from them would be given back.
