Don Jazzy Signs New Artiste To Mavin Records
Don Jazzy has announced the signing of a new act; “Rema,” to Mavin Records. The Mavin boss shared the news via his Instagram page just few minutes ago.
Don Jazzy says he has an assurance that the up and coming act will take over African music as he says he is definitely the future of afrobeats. He wrote on his page; “Today another Mavin is Activated. Mavin/Jonzing is excited to present the newest MAVIN @HeIsREMA. Rema is a super talented young artist I have no doubt is going to be the future of Afrobeats. Guys pls help me Welcome him to the family. Don Jazzy would be hoping this new signed act pushes Mavin Records back to the fore of music in Nigeria after it’s been lacking in terms of major content for a while now.
REMA would join the artistes that have been signed to the record label since Mo’Hits record was revamped and birthed Mavin Records by Don Jazzy On May 8, 2012. The likes of former signee, Reekado Banks, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, DNA and others became established stars under the label, and Rema would be hoping to follow in their footsteps.
