Fans love latest picture of Messi and Antonela as they cheer on their kids at football

Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo shared a picture of themselves looking very happy in the stands at Inter Miami’s training facilities where they were watching their kids in action.

They were both in attendance at the weekend to see their son, Thiago, in action for a younger age group. Their other sons, Mateo and Ciro, are also involved with the academy at Inter Miami which means Messi is spending more time there than the average player.

Messi could be seen drinking mate in the seemingly empty stand, with both he and Antonela sporting Palm Angels jumpers.

The picture was a story on Antonela’s Instagram account and she tagged her husband, as well as putting a football emoji. It is a very happy picture which is great to see considering the stress that moving continent can bring, after so many years in Europe.

Messi’s next steps

When the children have come to the end of the current school year, the family are planning to travel to Argentina and spend the holidays with their friends and family in Rosario.

Inter Miami have announced that they will travel to Saudi Arabia during the 2024 pre-season to take part in the Riyadh Season Cup as part of the club’s international tour. The team captained by Leo Messi will play in a tournament in which Al Hilal and Al Nassr, the two clubs currently leading the Saudi league, will be represented.

Inter Miami’s two matches on Saudi soil already have a date and time. First they will play on Monday 29 January at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh against Al-Hilal, coached by Jorge Jesus, with star players such as Neymar (who is unavailable due to injury), Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Ruben Neves, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Kalidou Koulibaly and Malcom.
