G HERBO’S HILARIOUS NBA YOUNGBOY IMPRESSION LEAVES INTERNET IN STITCHES

G Herbo has showcased a hidden talent by doing his best impersonation of NBA YoungBoy.

Herbo showed off his moves in a viral video that left the internet in stitches on Monday (May 22). Identical to what NBA YoungBoy does in his videos, G Herbo lit himself a cigarette and did an unhinged one-two step while rocking his knees back and forth.

Fittingly, the song selection for Herbo’s humorous impression was NBA YoungBoy’s “I Got That Shit,” off his new album Richest Opp.

While some fans took to social media and expressed that they felt the stunt was lighthearted in nature, other fans warned the Survivor’s Remorse rapper that YoungBoy may not be so receptive to his comical actions.

“Now he gonna be on the Internet live from his house going tf off on g herbo,” one person wrote in an Instagram comment, while another one wrote: “Nailed it.. but now he got to go to war, he know YB got half of a half of a sense of humor.”

Although some people may speculate that G Herbo is dissing NBA YoungBoy with his impression because of his affiliation with fellow Chicago rapper Lil Durk, he actually gave props to the Baton Rouge native last year in an interview on The Bootleg Kev Podcast.

During a conversation about whether or not artists can be black-balled entirely from the music industry, he saluted YoungBoy on his staying power.

“That’s why YoungBoy still winning,” Herbo said. “People gotta fuck with you. That’s the most anti-industry n-gga ever. You gotta give a n-gga they credit.”

In other G Herbo news, he recently unveiled his newly launched non-profit organization, Swervin’ Through Stress, which is designed to create a safe space for Black people to talk about mental health.

The 27-year-old explained to Billboard that in communities of color, mental health is not prioritized. With Swervin’ Through Stress, the Humble Beast artist hopes to increase mental health awareness and resources for those in need.

“Our community doesn’t talk about mental health enough,” he said. “With Swervin’ Through Stress, I really wanted to create a space where it’s OK for us to talk about what we’re going through. A lot of us can relate to each other’s struggles.”

In recent years, G Herbo has been open about his struggles with mental health. Ahead of the release of his PTSD album in 2020, he spoke with HipHopDX about his experiences.

“To be honest, I wasn’t familiar with going to share my problems with somebody so I already didn’t think it was something that I would want to do,” he admitted. “That was probably my first introduction to me embracing my PTSD, but we’re so immune to a lot of this stuff that go on in the inner city with like violence, going to jail and all that kind of shit.

“It’s like, we kind of don’t know that we suffer from these mental health issues. I’m a product of that. I was shot at. I seen my first murder at nine years old. A lot of this stuff that we encounter on a day-to-day basis, we think is normal just because it’s our reality.”

He added: “We think it’s something we’re supposed to be going through. I feel like in the poverty-stricken neighborhoods, a lot of us are suffering from PTSD. I thought it was important for me because I know it’s a lot of people who are like me.”
