GA Woman Arrested for Allegedly Shooting Teen in the Face During Road Rage Incident

According to reports, a Georgia woman is accused of shooting a teen in the face during a road rage incident.

Brittney Alyssa Griffith, 30, was arrested on Sunday after the incident where she allegedly followed the 17-year-old victim after a road rage dispute. When Griffith finally caught up to the teen, she allegedly pulled out her gun and shot the teen in the face.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to be released, officials said. She was also reportedly accompanied in the car by her young children at the time of the shooting.

Griffith is charged with three counts of third-degree cruelty to children, four counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
