‘God Himself Will Be Happy If Sarkodie Collaborates With Me’- Obaapa Christy

One of Ghana’s most respected Gospel musician, Obaapa Christy formerly called Christiana Love, has revealed that God himself will be happy if the king of rap, Sarkodie joins her for a collaboration. 

Gospel musicians having songs together with their counterparts from the other divide has been an age-long debate with no definite conclusion.

Whilst some Gospel artists say there’s nothing wrong in collaborating with secular musicians, others believe since light and darkness have nothing in common, it’s inappropriate.

Obaapa Christy however suggested in an interview with Zionfelix on his show ‘Uncut’ that there’s nothing wrong with such collaborations and revealed that God will be happy if her dream collaboration with Sarkodie comes into fruition.
