Gypsy Rose Blanchard is showing off her new nose.

The 32-year-old Munchausen by proxy victim, who has gained national fame as of late, was spotted out this week for the first time since undergoing cosmetic surgery.

Photos from Wednesday, April 17, show Blanchard in a Walmart parking lot in Galliano, La. with a noticeable new look.

Earlier this month, she told PEOPLE exclusively that she would soon be undergoing a rhinoplasty to change the shape and appearance of her nose.

“I’m going through a personal transformation journey currently and that includes a physical one, too,” she said in an exclusive statement. “Wish me luck with my surgery and watch the whole thing this summer on Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.”

Once the procedure was done, she revealed that things “went great,” and that she was on the road to recovery.

“I come in and out of sleep. I was in pain at first but I am on pain medicine,” Blanchard told PEOPLE. “I can’t breathe through my nose because of the packing but that comes off on the 10th.”

She added that she was anxious to see her results: “I want to see it so bad!”

In the same photos from Wednesday, changes could also be observed in her smile.

TMZ reports that porcelain caps replaced her silver teeth. Her mother Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard previously had several of Gypsy’s teeth and salivary glands removed by doctors after claiming that her child was suffering from tooth decay.

After Gypsy was released from a Missouri prison in December 2023 after nearly nine years in prison for her involvement in her mother’s 2015 murder, she spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her most painful unnecessary procedure.

In her exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the then-newly freed woman recalled having surgery “to remove two salivary glands behind my neck.”

Gypsy remembered that she “didn’t respond very well to the anesthesia,” making the recovery process “really, really hard.”

“To this day, it has left me with the side effects of having to clear my throat all the time. So I’m always, if you hear me, that is a constant thing that I’ve had ever since. And it annoys people to no end,” she said.

She also explained how Dee Dee had managed to manipulate doctors when she would take her to appointments.

“The reason why I had that surgery is because my mother had put [Orajel] on my gums to make me drool at the appointment and complain to the doctor that [I drool] too much,” the Louisiana native told PEOPLE.

Gypsy added that her mother “would get really, really upset” with her if she asked about the amount of surgeries she was subjected to.
