Helen Paul defends Regina Daniels over marriage criticism

Dr. Helen Paul has jumped to the defense of popular actress Regina Daniels. The comedian has hit back at critics who continue to chastise Regina for her marriage to the 59 year old Ned Nwoko.

The Nigerian business man cum lawyer made the teen actress his fifth wife recently and was spotted with her when he received a honourary doctorate degree over the weekend.

Both Ned and Regina have come under heavy criticism for their marriage but comedian Helen Paul has thrown her support behind them stating that Regina has the right to marry whoever she wants because she is of the legal age.

Also she has family members who consent to her marriage therefore people should leave the young actress to live her life.

She added that there are several children who need parenting and so if the critics want to be parents so bad, they can go and adopt those needy children.

She also added that some people marry young and last a long time while others marry at an older age and can barely keep the relationship alive.

Helen called women who have spoken against Regina hypocrites and asked why they always want to tear each other down.

She wrote:

“Hypocracy of the highest order, ladies are used to killing and condemning each other.
Do you know what she has gone through?

Do you know what pushed her and her family to go into such a marriage?
There are people who get married at an older age and their husbands are using them as punching bag.

Why are we quick to judge women? The woman did this, the woman did that, What about the men? Please let us leave issues that are sorted and focus on matters that truly need attention.

Helen is not the only celebrity to jump to the defense of the teenage actress. Actress Georgina Onuoha has also backed Regina Daniels.
